Harris & Lewis Day Tour

Every Saturday from 19th May to 1st September

Discover the impressive scenery of Harris and Lewis on this full day tour which begins with a 1 hour 40 min ferry journey across to Harris. Here you have the opportunity to purchase breakfast while scanning the sea for dolphins, whales and maybe an elusive puffin or two.

On arrival in Tarbert we will travel south and take a stroll on the amazing sandy beach of Luskentyre, voted one of the top 10 beaches in the UK. After returning to Tarbert for lunch and a visit to the famous Harris Tweed shop and the Isle of Harris Gin Distillery we will travel north to Lews Castle and newly opened Museum in Stornoway, home to some of the Lewis Chessmen. Then we will discover the marvel that is the Standing Stones of Callanish which have been standing for 4500 - 5000 years and still looking good. Our last stop of the tour will be Carloway Broch before travel back south to Tarbert to catch the evening ferry back to Skye where you can enjoy a meal watching the sunset over the beautiful Western Isles. Itinerary is subject to slight changes depending on the weather.

Pick up from and drop off at your accommodation from Portree and Uig areas. If staying outwith these areas we could meet at Uig Ferry Terminal Building at 9am.
Ferry crossings included in the price £65 per person.
